What this site is
Information about an assisted living home in Conroe, Texas, so that families and referring professionals can decide whether to call. Nothing is sold here and no account is created.
- Not medical advice
- Nothing on this site is medical, nursing, legal, tax or financial advice, and reading it does not create a professional relationship of any kind. The pages on paying for care and on levels of care describe how things generally work; your own situation needs your own doctor, attorney or adviser.
- Not an offer of admission
- Describing our care and our rates is not an offer to admit a particular person. Whether we can look after somebody depends on an assessment and on whether their needs sit inside what we provide. We would rather say no on the first call than after a move.
- The residency agreement governs
- If somebody moves in, the written residency agreement is the contract between us. If anything on this website ever conflicts with that agreement, the agreement is what binds both of us.
About accuracy
We keep this site accurate on purpose, and some of it we consider ourselves held to. The rest can move, and it is worth being clear about which is which.
- Our rates mean what they say
- The monthly rates, the admission fee, the incontinence care charge and the respite rates published on the pricing page are our actual rates, not estimates or starting points. If a rate changes, the page changes with it. We are not reserving a right to quote you something different on the day.
- The 12-month rate guarantee is a commitment
- It is written into the residency agreement, not just onto a web page, and nothing in these terms is intended to weaken it. The full terms of the guarantee, including what it does and does not cover, are set out on the pricing page and in the agreement itself.
- What can go out of date
- Room availability changes daily. Figures we quote from outside sources, such as the cost of care elsewhere or typical staffing ratios at larger communities, are attributed where they appear and are only as current as the source. Third-party rules, benefit amounts and programme names change without telling us.
- Links to other sites
- We link to the VA and other outside resources because they are useful and independent of us. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they say or do.
The remaining formalities
- Using the site
- Read it, print it, and share it with your family or a case manager, with our blessing. Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a volume that affects other people, or use the contact details here to send marketing.
- Content
- The text, photographs and design belong to Daraan Assisted Living LLC. The photographs are of this house and these rooms, which is rather the point of them. Quote us if it is useful; please do not present our material as your own.
- Liability
- We provide this site in good faith and keep it accurate. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the site itself. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects the rights of a resident under the residency agreement, under the Residents' Bill of Rights, or under Texas law.
- Governing law
- These terms are governed by the law of the State of Texas, and the courts of Montgomery County, Texas have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
- Changes
- If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
