Privacy policy
What this website collects, who receives it, and how long we keep it. Written to be read rather than to be impenetrable.

The short version
We collect what you send us through the tour form and nothing else. This site sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or tracking pixels. We do not sell anything to anyone.
If you would rather not use the form at all, call (346) 331-1509. Nothing on this site has to be typed into a web form to reach us, and a phone call leaves no record with any third party.
What we collect, and when
- The tour form
- Your name, phone number, email address, preferred date and time, the level of care you think you need, and anything you write in the notes field. Everything except the notes field is required to arrange a visit.
- The notes field
- We invite you to tell us about a diagnosis, medications and mobility, because it is the fastest way for us to tell you honestly whether we can help. That means the notes field may contain health information about you or a family member. Please share only what you are comfortable sending, and see the health information notice below. If you would rather give those details by phone, do that instead.
- Ordinary server records
- Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs, which typically include IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These are generated by the hosting infrastructure, not by us, and we do not use them to build any profile of you.
- What we do not collect
- No cookies of our own, no local storage, no analytics, no advertising or tracking pixels, no social media trackers, no session recording, and no account or login of any kind. There is nothing on this site to opt out of because there is nothing running.
Notice about health information
Required by Texas Health and Safety Code §181.154, and given here because that section permits a covered entity to give it by posting on its website.
- Why this applies
- Texas defines a covered entity more broadly than federal law does. Under §181.001, it reaches anyone who, for commercial gain, assembles, collects, analyses, uses, evaluates, stores or transmits protected health information, and the definition expressly includes persons maintaining an internet site. Daraan is a covered entity under Texas law.
- The notice
- Your protected health information may be subject to electronic disclosure. That includes information you send through the tour form, which reaches us electronically through a third-party form processor, and information we exchange electronically with a physician, pharmacy, home health agency or hospice involved in a resident's care.
- When we need your authorisation
- Texas law requires a separate authorisation for each electronic disclosure of protected health information, except where the disclosure is to another covered entity for treatment, payment, health care operations or insurance functions, or where the disclosure is otherwise authorised or required by law. We will ask for that authorisation when it is needed.
- We do not sell it
- We do not sell protected health information, and we do not disclose it for marketing purposes. We do not pay or receive any fee for a referral involving it.
Who else receives anything
Three third parties are involved in running this site. That is the complete list.
- Formspree
- Processes the tour form and delivers it to us by email. Everything you type into that form, including the notes field, passes through and is stored by Formspree, a service based in the United States. If you would prefer that no third party handles those details, telephone us instead.
- Google Fonts
- The typefaces on every page are served by Google. Your browser requests them directly, which means Google receives your IP address and browser information as part of that request. No cookie is set by the font service.
- Google Maps
- The contact page embeds a map. That embed is the one place on this site where a third party may set cookies in your browser. It loads only on that page, and only when you scroll to it. Every other page is free of it.
- Nobody else
- We do not sell, rent, trade or share your details with advertisers, data brokers, lead-generation companies or senior-living referral agencies. If you contacted us through a referral agency, that agency already holds your details under its own policy, not ours.
Keeping, correcting and deleting
- How long we keep enquiries
- If you enquire and do not become a resident, we keep the enquiry only as long as it is useful for following up, and no longer than two years. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.
- Resident records are different
- Once somebody moves in, their records are governed by the residency agreement and by the record-keeping rules that apply to residential care in Texas, not by this page. Those rules require us to keep certain records for set periods regardless of a request to delete them.
- Asking what we hold
- Write to Daraanllc@gmail.com or call (346) 331-1509 and ask. We will tell you what we have, correct anything wrong, and delete what we are not required to keep. There is no charge and no form to fill in.
- Security
- The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries reach us by email and are held in the business's own accounts. No system is perfect, and we would rather say that than promise otherwise.
Children. This site is meant for adults arranging care, usually for a parent or a spouse. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes. If this policy changes we will change the date at the top. We will not quietly broaden what we collect and leave the date alone.
